Highly recommend! The house is incredible, very stylishly furnished and beautifully appointed. A very short stroll into the town centre where you can find incredible restaurants and cafes, bars and supermarket. James was fabulous to deal with and a great communicator, he suggested many local must try restaurants and coffee shops. We would absolutely book again. You won’t be disappointed.

What a gorgeous house in a magical location. We were spoilt with goodies of chocolate, wine, fresh bread and eggs and milk. We stayed for three nights with good friends and loved the closeness to everything - the Saturday Albany market is just around the corner and the cafes and shops on York Street are a short walk. Thank you James and Lou for being so welcoming - would definitely recommend 😊

What a beautiful house!! Lots of character, lots of quirky things including the gorgeous chooks out back, but at the same time a really comfortable, spacious, warm feeling house. We were a group of 8 adults, one lot slept in bunks but otherwise we each had a lovely large bedroom. Great living areas including the back area with the fairy lights, nice for the odd warm summer evening or morning brekky. We never felt we were on top of each other. Communication was excellent, James was very welcoming and told us all about the house and also what to do in Albany etc - a lot is within walking distance. Highly recommend this lovely house in the historic area of Albany.

This house was a gem and really made our trip to Albany memorable. Photos doesn't really do it justice how beautiful the house was; lots of natural lighting, tasteful decorations and spacious rooms. Beds and pillows were comfortable and especially the linen bed sheets were so soft! Our highlights include the really friendly chickens in the backyard and also how close the house was to town. We could easily walk to a lot of places. Lou was also such a delight and very helpful to make sure our stay was perfect. This was easily one of the best airbnb we have ever been as the host was very thoughtful and friendly. Couldn't recommend it enough. Can't wait to go back 😁

Great home, loads of character, everything you would want and walking distance to the Main Street. Lou & James have put thought into your stay. Nice to turn up after a long drive and see fresh provisions in the kitchen. Drop your bags and settle in. We will be back for a longer stay next time. Albany has much to offer.

We were an extended family + a doggo away on a much needed short getaway and Lou's beautifully restored home was just perfect. The house comfortably sleeps 10, was very clean and very well equipped. We loved that Lou stocked the fridge and pantry with just enough so the kids and adults could have a little snack before we headed out sightseeing and grocery shopping. Highly recommend.

Great Airbnb in a fantastic location. Walking distance to the Main Street in Albany and a very short drive to Middleton Beach and Emu Point. The house was very clean and comfortable, with wonderful amenities. We loved the backyard with the chickens and frogs in the pond. The hosts Lou and James were great! Could not fault a thing!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lou and James’ place in Albany. Brilliant house, fully equipped kitchen, lovely open living area. The chickens were a highlight! The home was a great base to enjoy the beautiful south coast from, while being nice and central to be able to nip down to IGA for supplies. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful family home. All are tidy with a two-story platform. When we got there, all the beds were neatly made and the bathrooms. We didn't have to do anything except unpack. The information provided is accurate, and it was more than we expected. It is really good value for money, and Lou and James are very responsive. We look forward to staying in this place on our next visit to Albany. Thanks for the excellent customer experiences. We enjoyed every day we stayed.
